The ARCHIE Foundation

About the ARCHIE Foundation

Every year we impact on the healthcare of nearly 200,000 sick children. We buy specialist equipment, support families, create amazing hospital environments, enhance staff training, buy toys, fund research, provide specialist staff and respond in emergencies. Our donors, volunteers and supporters make this possible and we're hugely grateful to every single one of them.

We exist to make a big difference for local children when they are sick, in hospital or in need of long-term healthcare. We also take skills learned in Scotland to develop children's surgical programmes in East Africa through our ARCHIE Global Surgery Programme.

What the ARCHIE Foundation does

FOR CHILDREN

We provide specialist equipment just for you, we help mum and dad stay close by, we buy lots and lots of toys and provide entertainment. We make your time in hospital less scary, and more fun.

FOR STAFF

We fund staff training bursaries and we fund specialist staff posts. We support staff to attend conferences and share skills with others.

FOR FAMILIES

We help you stay close to your child when they're in hospital, free of charge for as long as you need it. We provide emergency support and we provide advice and assistance.
