Stress Buster Bake Sale 2.0

At our final event of this academic year, we raised a fantastic total of £138 in aid of Charlie House and the ARCHIE Foundation and hopefully our sweet treats provided some stress relief for our third year supporters who had upcoming exams. Thank you very much to everyone who bought cakes on the day and our incredible star bakers!
Clinical Skills Evening

We collaborated with the OBGYN Society and the Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS) to run a clinical skills night aimed at third years. Thank you so much to the 63 students who participated as well as the 8 student parents, 2 event co-ordinators, 2 event assistants and our incredible 16 PALS tutors. The night was a great success and we received fantastic feedback!

Thank you very much to everyone who donated to our bucket collection to Charlie House ! We raised an incredible total of £366.40! This couldn’t have been achieved without the amazing hard work of all of our collectors: Alice, Rachael, Rohini, Gillian, Rebekah, Heather, Brendan and Laura! Thank you also to Donna and Sorcha at the charity for all their help in organising the collection. We collected exclusively for Charlie House on this occasion as we only had one event (a bake sale) for them last year!

Pay on the night. £2 for members, £3 for non-members with ALL money being split between our nominated charities: the ARCHIE Foundation which makes hospital stays easier for children and families in the North East and Charlie House, which provides respite opportunties for children who have life-limiting illnesses!

Our Save a Life team had an amazing time at TechFest doing taster sessions of child and baby CPR. it was fab to share a stand with Teddy Bear Hospital Aberdeen and the University of Aberdeen Clinical Skills team! Thank you so much to all the families who came along, as well at our fantastic volunteers who gave up their weekend to help out and RGU and TechFest for having us!

We held a stress busting bake sale for our Year 4 supporters! Our committee of star bakers made a fantastic range of sweet treats. We raised a fantastic £148.26 which will be split equally between the ARCHIE Foundation and Charlie House! Thank you very much to everyone who baked and donated!
