Save a Life with AUPS

Information for AUPS members

As an AUPS member you will have the opportunity to attend training so you can join our team of community instructors and help deliver Save a Baby's Life and Save a Child's Life workshops to the general public.

By attending the training sessions from the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK, you will achieve your Community Instructor and Life Support 3 qualifications. This recognised award will ensure you have the necessary knowledge to teach emergency first aid to members of the public.

Training is usually organised over two 4 hour sessions which cover a range of emergency first aid techniques with a specific focus on paediatrics.

This is an fantastic opportunity to gain essential skills and become involved in teaching in the local community in Aberdeen!

Our community outreach workshops 'Save a Baby’s Life’ and ‘Save a Child’s Life’ are provided in conjunction with the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK.

Workshops teach basic emergency baby or child first aid to members of the community.

What is involved?

  • Introduction to life support skills
